Coronavirus Information

Capital Seaboard is committed to the health and safety of our customers and employees. With the uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), we remind our customers of the steps we have taken to ensure that we will continue to deliver safe product.  According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with food.  See https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/faq.html#spreads

Nevertheless, our warehouse facility and food handling processes are certified under the Global Food Safety Initiatives, Safe Quality Food program for both produce and seafood. SQF is a rigorous, audited food safety and quality program that goes above and beyond governmental/regulatory standards or basic HACCP. We have strengthened our strict food safety and sanitation protocols and are monitoring the coronavirus situation to keep our customers supplied with fresh and safe produce and seafood.
